Novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe: Day 4
I have landed safe and sound in Mexico. We already visited the church where Juan Diego was baptized. It was built using recycled stone from the ruins of an Aztec Pyramid “The Wall of Serpents”.

Saint Juan Diego was born in 1474 as Cuauhtlatoatzin,( Singing Eagle) a native to Mexico. He became the first Roman Catholic indigenous saint from the Americas.

Following the early death of his father, Juan Diego was taken to live with his uncle. From the age of three, he was raised in line with the Aztec pagan religion, but always showed signs of having a mystical sense of life.

Our Lady of Guadalupe appeared to Juan Diego a total of 4 times. He reminds us to walk our path softly and humbly. To stay grounded in each moment, as they are all sacred. I have asked him to accompany me on my pilgrimage. Ask him to join you during this novena!

“Dear Saint Juan Diego, The Singing Eagle. Assist me on my soul’s journey. Help me become a greater channel of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Bring humility to my path. Keep me grounded and sturdy to serve humanity to my fullest potential. Thank you. Amen.”
